Pedro Dabdoub/Jazzpango – La Catrina

This song was inspired in La Catrina – which symbolises the representation of death in Mexican folklore. The video narrates the journey that La Catrina takes to the world of the living, represented by Thanatos. She arrives at Earth taking one man’s woman, but when the man sees The Death he falls in love with her – becoming Eros. The mortal Eros believes that he has found love and, through a kiss, La Catrina is forever touched by a feeling stronger than death: love.
